For my proposal, I’m embedding resilient features into my design before disaster strikes in future, not only makes economic sense but it can also help us to mitigate possible danger against climate change. As an architectural designer, it’s crucial to focus on designs that adapts to changing times, therefore the XR Headquarter is a self-sustaining world that would support life on it’s terraced fields, grow food, collect rainwater and generate its own power. Significantly, it has a self-elevating unit (mobile platform) fitted with a number of movable legs, capable of raising the building over the surface of the sea to rescue people in case disaster strikes in future due to rising sea levels and climate changes.
